"Very pleasant stay, kid's loved the bunk beds, and we had our privacy in the separate room."

"We have just returned from 3 nights stay at the Best Western Raffles Inn & Suites. The hotel is great and we have never experienced such incredible service before. It was so pleasant that it was hard to drag ourselves away from the hotel to go to the theme parks (Disneyland, California adventure, Knott's berry farm, etc) at all. It was so hot and busy at the parks, we couldn't wait to get back to the home away from home. We were just expecting a few nibbles but breakfast is a continental with Danishes, boiled eggs, etc. The pool is lovely, not as big as the other properties next door but more luxurious. Our kids are 11 and 13 and they enjoyed it. The front desk staff members were wonderful. We paid $129 per night for a room on the gold crown club level which we thought excellent value. There were 2 queen size beds so the four of us shared. Overall I would rate this hotel the best hotel we have ever stayed in holiday! Good convenient for families."
"Disneyland just a few blocks away and the shuttle pick you right in front for $3 a person a day and drops you off right in front of Disneyland's main gate. The hotels rooms are very clean the bathroom a little on the small side but all in all the room is great for the value. The continental breakfast was just that....fruit, juice, coffee, pastries, boiled eggs, toast, hot and cold cereals....for those who need more there is a Denny's restaurant (walking distance) Great hotel and would stay again!!!"

"We just returned from an 8 night stay at this hotel in a kid suite and loved every minute! The kid suite was perfect for us in fact I loved the separate kid suite! It was so cute! When you entered your hotel room you enter into (ours was a 2 Q) room with a table, desk, TV amour, fridge & micro, two vanity separate shower bathroom closet area. When you enter through the door is the kid's suite which has a large double or queen sleeper couch, bunk beds which have three drawers under them as well as a TV dresser with three more drawers. They also then have there own two vanity sink area with a closet as well as a separate bath, shower toilet area! It was so perfect! You also had an extra storage area under the skirted sinks to store your luggage if you unpacked. The carpets where clean and the maid service was very pleasant! Everyday we entered our room it was as if we entered it for the first time! The air conditioner was great and there is a fan which you turn on or off for the kids suite. The pool and spa is small but it was fine. I would recommend a room on the second or third floor and facing Disney as you can see the fireworks at night from those rooms! The cont. The front desk staff and the manager are terrific! Mary is excellent and very nice! I have never stayed at a place with such pleasant staff! Will stay here again!"

"We are family of 6, we rented the Kid's suite for our 4 nights 5 days package. Pros: convenient to when you have 4 kids because of partition between parents' & kid's room (good privacy), kids loved their bunk beds, neat & clean set up of rooms, staff was very helpful, transportation to Disneyland was right in the front of the hotel, breakfast was nice too, enjoyed nice heated pool & spa after long day at Disneyland, amenities in the room were just like you at your home everything was there (coffee maker, microwave, iron & ironing board, etc.)"

"We went to this hotel with only moderate expectations, because of the low price we got on the net, so we could not have been more delighted to find the hotel well appointed, very clean and with an excellent staff. It is also just a brisk fifteen minute walk from Disneyland and the complementary morning breakfast served from 6.30 was functional enough to start the day on (toast, waffles, apples, oranges, Danish pasties, fruit juice, coffee, etc.). The parking at the car park was scarce, but we always found a space and overall our 8 day stay was very pleasing. My only reservation would be that in the family suite where we stayed, there is only one air con unit in the main room, so in the heat of summer, this may cause a problem in the kids section of the suite."

"Just returned from our Spring Break vacation--this was our third trip to Disneyland, the second with the children, and our first to the Raffles. Traveled with my husband, 13 year-old son, and 10 year-old daughter. Had a standard room and it was plenty big enough--loved the double vanity sinks. Breakfast was adequate, didn't really need eggs and bacon before going on Tower of Terror, but Denny's is right next door if you need more. Was within walking distance, but took the shuttle most days--esp. in the afternoons--never waited more than 10 minutes for one, even at the park. Maids were to our room by the time we returned in the afternoon--one morning had to go back to get sweat shirts and the room was already done by 9:30. Asked for extra pillows and face cloths and they were delivered promptly. Our arrival was delayed due to snow in Denver, but room was pre-paid through Disney Travel Company so no problem there. Hot tub felt good after a morning in the park--extra towels were poolside. My husband complained about the lack of TV. stations too, but we weren't there to watch television--can do that at home. If you need a place to rest after a long day of riding and walking than the Raffles is more than adequate, but if you're wanting a 4 or 5 star resort than look at the Disney hotels because most of the ones around the resort are all the same.
